What data we process

• Browsing data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time of the request, collected automatically by the systems that run the website.
• Data sent through the contact form or WhatsApp: name, email, phone number and the text of your message.
• Data collected through cookies: see the Cookie policy.

Please do not include information about your health in the form. If you do, we will use it only to answer your request.

Why we process it and on what legal basis

• Answering requests sent through the form, by email or WhatsApp, including booking an appointment: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Running the website and protecting it from misuse: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Visitor statistics (Google Analytics), only if you accept the related cookies: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
• Meeting legal obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Providing the form data is optional, but without it we cannot reply to you.

How long we keep it

• Contact form messages: 12 months from the last exchange, unless you become a patient.
• Browsing data: no more than 30 days, unless needed to investigate an offence.
• Statistics data: as stated in the Cookie policy.

Who can see the data

The data is processed by authorised staff of the practice and by the providers who help us run the website, appointed as data processors (Art. 28 GDPR): Abluo (Thomas Zimmermann), technical management of the website; Vercel Inc., hosting; Supabase, storage of contact form messages; Sanity, content management (does not receive form data); Google Ireland Ltd, for Google Analytics and Google Maps. The data is never published or sold.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers (such as Vercel and Google) may process data in the United States. In these cases the transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and you can object to its processing (Articles 15–22 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent to statistics cookies at any time, without affecting processing already carried out. Write to info@studiomartegani.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
